Get to know the Team…Megan

Take a glimpse behind the scenes at Les 100 Ciels…this is where you will find updates from photo-shoots,  a little bit about the team and snippets of what happens to get the collection from sketch to your wardrobe!

Our current in store team have been with us since our launch in October 2013. They have seen the store welcome it’s very first customers and are well versed on the collection. From knitwear knowledge to style advice, they are happy to help you find what you need and what you love.

This week I would like to introduce Megan, Regional Manager, who shares her time between the store and head office. Megan took time out of her busy schedule to answer a few questions for us…

What is your favourite piece from FW13?

Megan: It’s so hard to choose just one piece!  They are all so special!  I love the basic 100% cashmere boat neck jumper (Promone).  It is such an essential piece that is so versatile to wear.   I also love our over-sized striped jumper (Sweatstripe, pictured).  I’m a big fan of stripes, and the detailing on this piece with the contrast melange trims gives it that little extra – yet is remains simple in its styling and is very easy to wear.

What are your staple wardrobe items?

Megan: Over the last few months, I have made it my mission to reduce the amount of time it takes me to get ready on a morning.  The key to this is having key staple items in my wardrobe.  For me, these items must be versatile, of good quality and classic styling.  I live in my black, ultra skinny stretch treggings. They’re really easy to wear and go with everything.  Other must-haves include a structured blazer and classic cashmere scarf.

What are you most excited about wearing in Spring summer?

Megan: I am one of those people who actually likes winter and layering up with luxurious cardigans and chunky scarves.  But for Spring/summer, I am definitely most looking forward to just being outdoors more.  There’s nothing I love more than sitting outside for drinks on a summer evening and just being able to do so much more with the longer days.  I’m also looking forward to carry on my love of layering with our beautiful flowing, light weight cardigans on cool evenings, and adding pops of colour to my outfits with our Spring colour ways.

What do you like to do when you’re not in the Les 100 Ciels store/office?

Megan: I’m a very family oriented person.  When I’m not working, I like to spend a lot of my time with family and friends.  I also love browsing street markets, there’s always so much going on, such interesting people and things to be seen. A few of my favourite markets include Borough, Greenwich and Camden Lock Market.

What song do you love right now?

Megan: I am re-discovering an old love at the moment, John Mayer.  I could listen to him all day – particularly “wonderland”.

Where is your favourite place in the world?

Megan: Hong Kong is one of my favourite places.  It is so busy and alive there, I can never get bored of it!  I love that behind the hustle and bustle of the city, you can find quaint villages and beautiful landscapes.  Being half Chinese, it’s a place that means so much to me and which I have a deep desire to know more about.
