Say Hello to your late summer soundtrack with the freshest releases from Sampha. Born in 1988, the Londoner Sampha Sisay is a singer, songwriter and beat maker, who lent his voice to international artists such as Drake, Kanye West and Solange. By the end of 2017, Sampha has released his first solo album, Process. We love Sampha as nobody’s voice swoops more elegantly and mournfully than his and every lyric comes across as deeply felt. Summer is approaching and together with it some exciting news of a ten-day musical festival hitting London this May. This brand new ten day event, named All Points East, will first run from Friday 25 May 2018 until the 28th of May at the city’s Victoria Park, followed by a four – day community – focused programme, packed with comedy, food, outdoor cinema and more to reflect the vibrancy of its surrounding area. The event is split between the opening festival, as well as standalone headline acts by Catfish & The Bottlemen, The National and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.
