Les 100 Ciels X Sally Lane Jewellery

Les 100 Ciels X Sally Lane Jewellery

This season we are proud to announce our new collaboration with Sally Lane Jewellery Founded in 2015, Sally Lane Jewellery has created a style of jewellery that matches the founder’s ambition, to be Strong Yet Feminine within the workplace. Sally Lane Jewellery epitomises women sharing stories with other women, to inspire them to take an honest look at their life and make changes to be happier and healthier. It is about embracing all her elements, without needing to conform to notions that to succeed one must emulate stereotypical masculine qualities. The designs are Strong and also Feminine; bold but understated; wearing Sally Lane Jewellery empowers the wearer to do whatever they set out to achieve and reminds women of their own inner strength.   The triangle is the centrepiece for Sally Lane Jewellery because it so perfectly expresses strength and elegance in its form. It breaks the mould from the traditional circle which is so widely used in jewellery and flaunts daring and bravery with its beautiful but pointed angles. This is jewellery for women who are in control of their own destiny. The jewellery uses Sterling Silver and 18k Gold Plating, to create a unique, well crafted range. Every piece ...

4 Interior Design Ideas to follow this season

Whether you’re seeking inspiration to update your home or just a little interior escapism, we have got you covered. Here at Les 100 Ciels we know a cosy and curated space can influence your everyday life. It’s good for the soul to refresh your living space now and then and we’ve found some beautiful inspiration to do just that. Read through our list of the best interior ideas to follow right now – but be warned, house envy is guaranteed! Natural Touch Plants, weathered look furniture and raw wood are always welcome for someone looking to connect with nature. Organic and sustainable materials – such as wooden floors, vertical gardens, air plants, or re-used paper, fabric and even plastics – draw the exterior and nature indoors. Adding details to your home such as air plants hung from esparto rope, or recycled wood worktops will create the warmth we look for when we are at home.   Memphis Details On the other hand, you could opt for the Memphis Movement. This style of design, known for being colourful and modern, is overtaking mid-century modern design bringing the eighties back to the home- and we love it! Primary colours, graphic shapes and ...

A mini guide to the Chester Races season

A mini guide to the Chester Races season

Chester Race season will be starting on the 8th May, so it’s only natural that we start to get a little excited around this time of year.  If you aren’t sure what we are talking about, you should know that the Chester races have been taking place since 1539 and are held at what is thought to be the oldest racecourse still in use in England, and it is known as the “Roodee”. Little has changed since then: the “Roodee” racecourse is a tight course and races are exclusively on the flat, which means an even more exciting schedule of races! The season will start with Chester’s May meeting, considered to be one of the best events of the year. You will be able to attend the three-day Boodles May Festival, including exciting fixtures such as the historic Chester Cup, a two and a quarter mile handicap, classic trials in the shape of the Chester Vase, Dee Stakes and Cheshire Oaks, plus races for older horses in the Huxley Stakes and Ormonde Stakes. This event  is also a must for anyone who is passionate about fashion, socialising and the exhilarating anticipation of watching champions racing. As if that wasn’t enough, ...

Escape to Cortina d’Ampezzo

Escape to Cortina d’Ampezzo

Where in the world is Cortina?! Cortina d’Ampezzo, or more simply Cortina, is a small town in the Veneto region of northern Italy. Situated in the centre of the Dolomites (part of the Italian Alps), this village has been named “The Queen of the Dolomites” for its natural beauty and wide range of mountain activities. Cortina is also easy to reach from other countries, located only 2 hours north of Venice. We recently spent 4 days in this lovely town which was the perfect amount of time to visit this ski destination. Aside from skiing, Cortina has an interesting military history, having fought against the Austrians during the First World War, and this is evident in the large collection of bunkers, trenches and tunnels available to explore. The Great War Open Air museum is also definitely worth a visit. However, the true draw to the town is Cortina’s ski scene which is not to be missed! While you can visit this cute town all year around, the best time to visit is in the winter. In fact, being part of the Dolomiti Super ski terrain makes Cortina part of the world’s largest skiing area. Opting for a single skipass will ...
