This includes the initial design, to the sourcing of our yarns and product development, right through to the packaging and shipping. We recently went to London Men’s Collections and could see womenswear influencing the designs too. Most women have flirted with the idea of menswear, as Vogue says: ‘Katharine Hepburn wore Brooks Brothers shirts bought from a secret girls-only counter at the back of the New York store, Marlene Dietrich worked the tux with unrivalled command, while Doris Day cavorted in her lover’s oversized shirts’.
