The Autumn Winter 2020 collection is inspired by a search for balance. In ancient Chinese philosophy, Yin and Yang energies are dualities that pervade all life, intersecting and seeking a gentle equilibrium.

Les 100 Ciels has pared back the collection in A/W 20 and returns to the heart of what has driven the brand for years. We take time to enjoy our clothing; reflecting on our respect for natural fibres that have been used for centuries for warmth, softness and comfort and weaving this honour into every piece.

The collection opens with muted tones that reflect a calming, feminine Yin energy. The styling is comfortable and gentle, with classic jumpers, wide leg trousers and dresses. It welcomes a period of pause and reflection to bring calm and peace to our lives.

Sitting alongside is the inspiration for Yang energy, fiery heat represented by activity and vigour- shades of red, pinks and orange are strong colours for the collection, representing life’s fullness and vibrancy. Styling is bold, expressive and energetic with oversized jumpers, embellishments and graphic prints creating a sense of movement and warmth.

This season we celebrate being our whole selves. The collection is an invitation to embrace all sides of the self and in doing so, enjoy the harmony that arises from re-discovering your centre and returning to self.
