The list of things to do in London is endless, however we scoured the events planner for all things dance and chosen our Top 5 for you to enjoy…
1) Billy Elliot The Musical
Currently showing at Victoria Palace Theater and booking until December!
Billy Elliot has been dazzling London’s West End since 2005. Set in a mining town in the north of England during the 1984/’85 miners’ strike, Billy Elliot is the inspirational story of a young boy’s struggle against the odds to make his dream of becoming a dancer, not a boxer, come true.
2 ) ‘Little Havana’ at Floridita
Whether you just want to have a drink and enjoy the music, or get on the dance floor Floridita is a fun evening out. The Les 100 Ciels team went here to celebrate a birthday a few weeks ago and the atmosphere was fantastic, we were clapping away and dancing in our seats whilst having dinner. The dance floor was full to the brim and a little intimidating to those of us who have never danced salsa but don’t let this deter you. It was a welcoming environment and you could tell everyone was there for a good dance. With bystanders enjoying the performance.
3) Tango Lessons / Tango Fever
This is next in the list for us! We can practice our moves for upcoming Christmas parties with private tuition and corporate packages as well as joining in with a big group. They offer experiences for beginners through to experienced dancers so your visit is catered for your needs. All you need to do is show up and show off your moves!
4) The Nutcracker at London Coliseum
Showing from 11th Dec – 4th Jan. Perfect for pre-Christmas work outings, the Nutcracker ballet is just so beautiful and such a classic it’s not to be missed!
5) Pineapple Dance Studios
The philosophy behind the creation of Pineapple Dance Studios was to break down the elitist barriers surrounding dance and make it available to everyone, from the absolute beginner to the advanced and professional dancer. Their array of classes is incredible and would be so much fun attending with a group of friends!
We hope you have got some inspiration for Christmas dancing activities and hopefully see you there!
