Banish your winter blues with a dose of 100 Ciels Cashmere! Yes, we are all getting the sniffles and yes, we are bringing our hot water bottles to work , but winter is also a time to celebrate! The cold weather means that we can layer up with plenty of cosy cashmere, which is enough to brighten us all up! A post is long due about our little Winter break to Devon! It was so lovely getting away from the hussle and bussle of London life and relaxing with good company, a Labrador, a roaring fire, (a lot of) good food and long blustery walks. We kept warm on the beach with our Ovecar Cashmere Cardigan, layered over our Promduti Roll Neck for extra comfort and snuggled up on the sofa in front of the fire with our Cherie Throw in Camel. Breakfast in bed was made perfect with our Cherie keeping us cosy! Top to toe cashmere! Double up with Ovecar or Juliet with our Esprit joggers.

We popped down to the Fashion & Textiles Museum  to see the Knitwear, Chanel to Westwood, an exhibition comprised mainly of items from the collection of Mark and Cleo Butterfield. The pieces are presented in wooden crates, stacked one on top of the other and are accompanied by images of knitwear from various publications and fashion shoots.     The pair have been collecting pieces of knit and crocheted garments since the 1960’s and they cover a huge amount of years, ranging from late Victorian and Edwardian periods to present day items. Pieces from hand-knitting gurus Patricia Roberts and Bill Gibb are featured along side household names such as Chanel, Missoni, Vivienne Westwood, Zandra Rhodes and Sonia Rykiel.
